Salvador graduated form Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, Mexico, with a B. Eng. degree in Electronics in 2018 followed by a M. Sc. in Astrophysics with a focus on astronomical instrumentation by the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics, Puebla, Mexico; his thesis was developed under the tutelage of Dr. Luna and it consisted on the optical design of a polarimeter to study asteroids for a 2 meters telescope. Currently he is working as a PhD student on “Monolithic and Heterogeneous Integration Theme: Semiconductor growth of materials for feedback insensitive lasers” in the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Process Analysis (CAPPA) at MTU and Tyndall National Institute under the supervision of Dr Liam O Faolain Dr. Emanuele Pelucchi.
