CAPPA was delighted to exhibit and attend at the “IRDG Leading Business Innovation” annual conference and exhibition, which took place on Tuesday October 22 in the Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny. There were over 40 exhibitors on the day displaying their products and services and highlighting how innovation can be integrated into business. This event has been running for the last 4 years and continues to grow in numbers and success each year.
Speakers from Morgan McKinley, Formula One, Lidl Ireland, Systematic Innovation, Circularwise, UPMC Ireland, Broadlake, Logitech, Ocuco Ltd, Itsa Bagel, Wia, Dell, Tipperary Energy Agency, Dairymaster, VideoRankMe, Siemens Ltd Ireland and BioMarin Pharmaceuticals all contributed on the day. Three keynote speakers, Darrell Mann, CEO of Systematic Innovation, Mark Gallagher, Performance Insights & Formula One and Barry O’ Reilly, Authour of Unlearn spoke about innovation and sustainability in business models. The executive workshop took place on 23 October, on creating high performance organisations by Barry O’ Reilly who is a business adviser, entrepreneur, and author. The conference focused on three themed sessions, digital transformation, innovation in a sustainable world and scaling SME excellence, with a variety of speakers including an assortment of Irish business leaders.
CAPPA met with a range of companies throughout the day and displayed to them the services that they offer. CAPPA outlined various services and R&D expertise that would be applicable to their business and government funding incentives their business could avail of. Exhibitors and attendees came from a wide variety of sectors including retail, education, tourism and hospitality, manufacturing, information and communication, financial, scientific and research.
