The Centre for Advanced Photonics and Process Analysis (CAPPA) in association with CIT department of mathematics, is running a science competition from 11th to the 15th of May. CAPPA has created five different experiments that you can do at home with items you will already have in your house. To enter the competition all you have to do is send us in a picture of your creation, by 19:00 each day, to be in with a chance of winning a prize.  There are five experiments which run over the five days, you can perform any one of the five experiments each day and send photos. The winners will be announced on Monday the 18th of May and we will post a selection of the winning images on our social media sites. These experiments are aimed at 8 – 13 year old but the competition is open to everyone. Once you have your experiment created, simply take a picture of your experiment and email your picture and name to [email protected]
