The Centre for Advanced Photonics and Process Analysis (CAPPA) were delighted to be an exhibitor at the Enterprise Ireland Technology Forum which took place on Thursday the 16th of June from 9 -1 in Croke Park, Dublin. There were over 200 people in attendance on the day with exhibitors from the 16 Technology Gateway Network and the 8 Technology Centres.

The theme of the event was sustainability. As companies strive towards a low carbon future, many are thinking about developing, and investing in sustainable products, process or services. Participants heard from a number of companies who have worked with the Technology Gateway Network and Technology Centres to utilise the expertise available within the host Universities, Technological Universities and Institutes of Technology. Participants also learnt about the various finding mechanisms available from Enterprise Ireland, including the Innovation Voucher, Innovation Partnership Programme and Agile Innovation Funding programmes.

There was a range of presentations on the day beginning with mark Whelan, Prorgramme Manager for Technology Gateways, who highlighted the benefits to companies when collaborating with Technology Gateways and Centres. There was a range of industry presentations including presentations from Lambay Whiskey, Freefoam, MyGug and SSE Airtricity.
