Since Sepha Ltd. started in 1980, they have established a global reputation for innovation and development of specialised, high quality equipment for use in the manufacture of pharmaceutical blister packs, medical devices and healthcare products. They provide innovative, non-destructive leak testing solutions, lab scale packaging solutions and deblistering machines for recovery of high value product. Sepha joined Tasi Group in 2013 becoming part of the single largest pharmaceutical test and inspection group worldwide. 

Engagement with CAPPA

Sepha Ltd. supply a specific part to one of their customers. As part of a validation process the company utilises CAPPA to provide this product check. Their customer is also a collaborator with CAPPA and as such have confidence in the check process carried out. CAPPA was able to measure the diameters of apertures of pinholes laser drilled in stainless steel to a high tolerance. CAPPA measured these and validated them against an internal calibration standard and ensured that all results were within the specification as stated by Sepha to ensure that their high-quality standards are met each time.

By conducting these measurements, the company will be able to ensure customer satisfaction and keep up their high-quality standards. By working with CAPPA, Sepha gained access to experienced research and development personnel and equipment which they may have otherwise been unable to access. CAPPA also has access to a range of materials that were used to look at measurement variation and consistency. This allowed Sepha to effectively evaluate all potential solutions for their requirements with an equal depth of technical knowledge.
